Actor Andy Whitfield passed away September 11, 2011.

The Greater AC Comic Con: Remembers Cliff Robertson

We have loved Mr. Robertson's work almost as long as we've loved science fiction and he will be sorely miss. A great actor he won The Oscar for the film Charly. And was picked by JFK to portray President Kennedy in the film PT 109.

In The Sixties he starred with John Austin in  one of the most eerie but shocking episodes of The Twilight Zone.

Also in the sixties Robertson played Shame and was one of the last surviving Bat Man TV Show villains.

Most recently he played Uncle Ben in the hit film SpiderMan which I always thought was a class move because at the time , no actor to me alive represented classic sci-fi like Cliff Robertson.

Bring in your comic book/sci fi themed 8X11 art work and you could leave with the first place trophy plus other prizes and a whole lot of bragging rights.

We have two categories 17 and under and 18 and over.

Or if you'd like to earn some money and become a Greater AC Comic con star? Why not get a table and earn money sketching exclusive pictures for the hundreds coming through at our artists alley.

The Greater AC Comic Con is responsible for any lost or damaged art during the con.

All judges decisions are final.

The very first comic con I went to was a blast.
When I ran out of money, I relaxed in the viewing room and watched old school clips of some of the best sci-fi and comics classics.

So when I started outlining ideas for The Greater AC Comic Con I know I wanted a screening room!

Join us for the special guests, vendors, workshops and panels October 9th and 10th!
But also join us is the Screening Room to share in memories with other sci-fi/comic fans!

I have a list of stuff that will be a surprise but I figured I would also wet your whistle with hints as to some of the stuff you can expect to see.
